Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: Word processing software and Internet

  • The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of working effectively under pressure

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests and assign rooms, process group arrivals and departures, and take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • The candidates should be able to provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area
  • The candidates should be able to process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and follow emergency and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, answer the telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs
  • The candidates should be able to contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls and provide customer service
