Salary: $23.86 to $27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Pre-school education
Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, and reliable, with a strong ability to multitask
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication skills, and interpersonal awareness
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, be a team player, and exhibit strong values, ethics, and honesty
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess children’s development to prepare tailored learning plans and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, prepare snacks, and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children, plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours, and supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
