Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, Database software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, Word processing software, Spreadsheet, Electronic mail
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines and with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be analytical, quick learner, accurate, dependable, organized, flexible, and reliable
  • The candidates should have integrity, time management, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents, receive and forward telephone or electronic enquiries, maintain and prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases, sort, process and verify applications, receipts and other documents, process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically
  • The candidates should be able to send and receive messages, perform basic bookkeeping tasks, prepare invoices and bank deposits, provide general information to clients and the public, photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing and filing
  • The candidates should be able to file material in storage area, label files according to retention and disposal schedules, label, file and retrieve documents, locate and remove files requested, send invoices, schedule and confirm appointments, record and relay information
  • The candidates should be able to provide basic information to clients and the public, perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, order office supplies, obtain and process information required to provide services, maintain work records and logs

The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, calculate billing charges, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, operate switchboard or telephone system, receive and issue payments
