Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Contracts, and Manuscripts, publications, or theses
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, schedule and confirm appointments, and answer the telephone, relay calls, and messages
  • The candidates should be able to answer electronic inquiries, compile data, statistics, and other information, and order office supplies, maintain inventory, and arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, and type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
