Salary: $21.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 70 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Bradford, ON
Shifts: Evening, Overtime, Early Morning
Supervision: 16-20 People And More Than 20 People
Type of crops: Carrots, Greenhouse Vegetables, Herbs And Onions

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Equipment and machinery experience: Carrot Seeder, Onion Seeder, Onion Transplanter, Harvesters, Tractor, Vegetable Or Fruit Harvester And Forklift
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, maintain attention to detail, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be able to handle a large workload, and work overtime when required

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be excellent in oral communication, organized, and team players

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean greenhouses, harvest seedlings, and mix fertilizer
• The candidates should be able to manage soil fertility programs, ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, and hire and train staff
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and perform general farm duties

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
