Job Description:

Salary: $21.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time
Location: SW27-10-21-W4, Picture Butte, AB, T0K 1V0
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like feeding and watering system
  • The candidate should have specialization on beef cattle

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able for calving, handling animals and also monitoring animal health
  • The candidate should be able to maintain livestock performance records, recognize and treat certain livestock health problems, maintain work records and logs, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment and also perform general farm duties
