Transportation information: The candidates should have own transport, valid driver’s licence, should be willing to travel, willing to travel regularly, and also public transportation is available
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, Apartment/condominium complex, Urban area, Office building, Rural area, Cleaning service company, Various locations, Industrial facility or establishment, Commercial building, Private residence, Recreational facility/institution, Health care institution, facility or clinic, Hospital/medical facility or clinic, Hotel, motel, resort, School or educational institution/establishment, Shopping centre or mall

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Credentials: Housekeeping room attendant certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: The candidates should have clear criminal records, should be bondable, and should have driver’s validity license check, driving record check (abstract), and airport security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be willing to for overtime
  • The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
  • The candidate should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, be able to work as a team player
  • The candidate should have values and ethics

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items
  • The candidates should be able to attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities
  • The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • The candidates should be able to answer written and oral inquiries
