Shifts: Day, Weekend, On Call

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Doors and door frames
Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically demanding, be able to meet tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, have strong attention to detail, and possess good hand-eye coordination

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and be reliable
  • The candidates should be a team player and hardworking

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and instruct apprentices
  • The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work
  • The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites
