Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be capable of working under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, and reliable
  • The candidates should function effectively as a team player
  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods with precision and attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies accordingly
  • The candidates should be able to inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards
  • The candidates should be able to train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards
  • The candidates should be able to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment for efficient kitchen management
  • The candidates should be able to clean the kitchen and work areas thoroughly, following established sanitation procedures
