Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all tasks and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidate should be capable of handling heavy loads efficiently and be physically fit to manage demanding tasks
  • The candidate should be comfortable standing for extended periods during work shifts and be able to work effectively under pressure

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods proficiently, and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances according to dietary restrictions
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, adhering to dietary guidelines, and inspect kitchens and food service areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards
  • The candidates should be able to train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food, imparting knowledge and skills effectively, and order supplies and equipment accurately and efficiently to maintain inventory and meet operational needs
  • The candidates should be able to supervise kitchen staff and helpers, delegating tasks and ensuring smooth operation of the kitchen, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment systematically and accurately
  • The candidates should be able to clean the kitchen and work areas thoroughly and regularly to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and manage kitchen operations efficiently, overseeing all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and service
