ClubLink based in Milton, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Cook. ClubLink started in 1989 when the Simmonds family bought Cherry Downs Golf Club. We began as a public company which buy King Valley Golf Club, Heron Point Golf Links and Emerald Hills Golf Club. Our primary goal is providing our members and guests with the best possible experience, whether it is on the golf course, at a meeting or banquet or while they are visiting one of our resort properties. We hire foreign workers to fill labour or skill shortages on a temporary basis. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. This position of Cook is approved by LMIA.

Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work overtime, under pressure, in fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, perform repetitive tasks and also stand for extended periods
  • The candidate should be physically strong

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, in a flexible environment, in an organized way and also take initiative
  • The candidate should be dependable, reliable and also a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to clean kitchen and work areas
  • The candidate should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef and also prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • The candidate should be able to organize and manage buffets and banquets
