Punjab Platter based in Edmonton, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Cook. Punjab Platter bring you simple, fresh, and authentic Indian food. We offer a variety of dishes from Punjab and have incorporated popular dishes that come from diverse cultures all across India. We use fresh, locally sourced, best quality ingredients to prepare our in-house spice mixes and chutneys. We are pleased to offer online ordering services to connect with our customers. We hire foreign workers to fill labour or skill shortages on a temporary basis. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. This position of Cook is approved by LMIA.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks and pay attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to supervise kitchen staff and helpers and also manage kitchen operations
- The candidate should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods and also maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
