Position: Courier driver

Salary: $29.00 hourly for 32 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Squamish, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Morning
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment:Â Steel-Toed Safety Boots and Cellular Phone
Credentials:Â Class 5/5F/G License (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Security and safety:Â Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and work overtime when required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, flexible, and organized
- The candidates should be reliable and a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, receive and relay information to central dispatch and prepare, package and restock goods
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, use maps and other trip planning aids and record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
