Arie Anita and Gijs Vanden Broek based in Olds, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Dairy herdsperson. Arie Anita and Gijs Vanden Broek is a family owned dairy farm. In our farm we raise our cattle with utmost care & hygiene. We only give neccesary vaccine to them and no harmful hormones. We mulching them with modern and safe methods. Our dairy products are unadulterated adulterated and safe to consume. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Evening, Early Morning and Morning
Work Setting: Rural area and staff accommodation is available
Work Site Environment: Candidates should work in dusty, noisy, odours, outdoors and dairy area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of Specialization: Dairy cattle
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Candidates must have experience of feeding and watering system and milking system (automated)
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to handling animals
- The candidate should be able to monitoring animal health
- The candidate should be able to provide agricultural livestock services such as artificial insemination, spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses
- The candidate should be able to maintain livestock performance records
- The candidate should be able to recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
- The candidate should be able to perform general farm duties
