Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should possess a valid Ontario G Driver’s License
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform in a physical, fast-paced environment involving driving, continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages
- The candidates should have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32 kg)
- The candidates should be able to work outdoors and be exposed to hot and cold temperatures
- The candidates should be able to wear a company-provided vest and adhere to the company’s Appearance Guidelines
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to read and navigate with maps/map books
- The candidates should have a Clean Driver’s Abstract showing no violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
- The candidates should have a Clean Driver’s Abstract showing no accidents and a maximum of 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up packages to and from residential and/or commercial properties
- The candidates should be able to practice safe transportation methods while traveling to and from destinations
- The candidates should be able to ensure the best customer service through efficiency and dedication
- The candidates should be able to deliver and pick up packages in an efficient and effective manner
- The candidates should be able to follow and execute company-established safe/defensive driving methods
- The candidates should be able to assist with loading and unloading the trucks as required
- The candidates should be able to record, track, and maintain information about delivered packages
