Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, apply successive coats of compound, and sand seams and joints
- The candidates should be able to apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster, and clean and prepare surfaces
- The candidates should be able to finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
- The candidates should be able to measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, and mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- The candidates should be able to smooth out excess compound, allow coat to dry, and prepare wall and ceiling layouts
- The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
