Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while having strong attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should be reliable in their duties and responsibilities while being effective team players who adhere to values and ethics in their work

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children while leading activities such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, as well as guide and assist them in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors while establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
- The candidates should be able to plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children and supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants
