Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smoking
• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should also be comfortable bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be dependable and have efficient interpersonal skills
• The candidates should have good judgement and be a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
• The candidates should be able to assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, and prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
• The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors, discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
