Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and handle physically demanding work
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling as required

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- The candidates should lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and organizing local outings
- The candidates should guide children in developing eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- The candidates should observe children for learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports
- The candidates should establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
- The candidates should plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours
- The candidates should supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
