Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have 6 months experience performing in a safety role within Amazon

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity
  • The candidates should have knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910 and strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills
  • The candidates should have experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and personnel issues in the workplace
  • The candidates should have a minimum of 1 year in an environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field or a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-relevant background, or experience in worker’s compensation case management
  • The candidates should have experience leading and managing a team, analyzing accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns, and conducting job hazard and job safety analyses
  • The candidates should have experience in emergency response and currently hold First Aid and CPR certificates

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate-based reporting systems
  • The candidates should be able to support management efforts to ensure compliance with all corporate program expectations and applicable federal and state laws
  • The candidates should be able to conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis) and new equipment introductions
  • The candidates should be able to recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to management, including ergonomics
  • The candidates should be able to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
