Valtech Fabrication inc based in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Factory labourer – manufacturing. Valtech Fabrication inc began in 2000, with a handful of welders and assemblers located in a 4,500 square foot industrial space fabricating custom metal equipment for local industries. Banking on the skill and experience of our 11 employees, we successfully broke into the market to fabricate custom industrial equipment for FCC (fluid catalytic cracking) units in oil refineries in 2003. We now boasts approximately 150 employees and over 130,000 square feet of fabrication space. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $18.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Evening, 16:00 to 02:00
Work site environment: Candidates should work in dusty, hot and noisy place
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have steel-toed safety boots
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads, manually dexter, pay attention to detail and also stand for extended periods
- The candidate should be physically strong, a combination of sitting, standing, walking and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be punctual, dependable, reliable and also a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers, perform other labouring and elemental activities and also clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment and also check and weigh materials and products
