Salary: $300,000 to $350,000 annually (to be negotiated)  40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time – Remote work available

Shifts: Flexible Hours, 09:00 to 17:00

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II), Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities, Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
  • The candidates should be able to consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health
  • The candidates should be able to prescribe and administer medications and treatments, advise patients on health care
  • The candidates should be able to inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
  • The candidates should be able to communicate health promotion, disease, illnes and accident prevention to patients
  • The candidates should be able to perform patient advocacy role, co-ordinate or manage primary patient care, supervise home care services
  • The candidates should be able to provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
