Golden Eagle Farm Group based in Pitt Meadows, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Farm worker, fruit. Golden Eagle Farm Group is a global family business that offers complete traceability of our products from planting to packaging. We are dedicated to exercising best practices across the entire production cycle to deliver our customers the best berries available in the market. We cultivate over 3,500 acres of farmland in the Pacific Northwest, one of the most fertile areas in the world. We are committed to producing quality berries that are healthy and delicious. Our 160,000 sq ft plant was built in 2006 and has enabled us to become a full-service farming operation. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.05 hourly for 30 to 48 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Seasonal employment

Work setting: Rural area, staff accommodation is available, staff accommodation is provided and remote location
Work site environment: Candidates should work in outdoors and hot place
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Type of crops: Blueberries and Field berries
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for hand harvesting vegetables
- The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, clean crop, fertilize and spray crops and also harvest crops
- The candidate should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
