Fieldsong Farm based in Langley, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Farm worker, general. Fieldsong Farm, founded in 2013, produces all-natural fruits and vegetables, eggs, goat dairy products and artisan foods to provide fresh and healthy food to our community and beyond, using best practices for conservation, regeneration and sustainability of the land and environment. We are known for high quality products, great customer service, honesty and integrity and humane treatment of animals. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.65 to $16.50 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Langley, BC
Shifts: Day
Work setting: Staff accommodation is available
Work site environment: Candidates should work in chicken farming and hog and pig farming
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in an organized way
- The candidate should be someone who can judge
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for farm animal grooming, handling animals and also monitoring animal health
- The candidate should be able to feed inventory and also feed and tend animals
- The candidate should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens and also write daily basic progress reports
