Salary: $20.00 per hour for 40 to 70 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning
Work Site Environment: Dusty, Hot, Noisy, Outdoors, Horticultural field crop
Work Setting: Rural area, Staff accommodation available
Transportation/Travel Information:
Valid driver’s licence, Drive manual transmission vehicle
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language, having knowledge of Spanish language is an asset
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 1-2 years
Supervision: 5-10 people
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Turf grass harvester, Automated irrigation system, Tractor
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity license check
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- The candidate should be able to work with tight deadlines and pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be able to handle large workloads
- The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of sitting, standing and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have an excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidate should be able to work in an organized way and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers also develop work schedules and establish procedures
- The candidate should be able to ensure farm safety and biosecurity procedures are followed
- The candidate should be able to maintain quality control and production records also maintain work records and logs
- The candidate should be able to hire and train staff also operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidate should be able to perform general farm duties
