Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC)
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 3 years experience in providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets

They should have current accreditation and good standing in AMF licensing, with successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). It’s an asset if they’ve completed CSI or ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course – Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal and Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790)
  • The candidates should be certified professionals (MFDA – Ontario). They should have current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC) and must meet eligibility requirements for MFDA licensing. They should have, or be willing to obtain before their start date, the Designated Financial Services Advisor Designation (DFSA) through the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI)
