Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Transport Canada generic exams
Experience: Candidates should have experience in a Type A or B Operation Control
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work flexible shifts, including day, evening, and weekend schedules exhibit the capability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- The candidates should have the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
- The candidates should be capable of working under pressure and solving problems efficiently
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess good communication skills, both verbal and written and demonstrate excellent judgment and analytical skills and reside in Edmonton
- The candidates should have a good command of English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with internal and external colleagues
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to execute operational control type A in our new Edmonton OPS Center
- The candidates should be able to prepare flight plans and required work documents and verify and analyze weather conditions and follow their evolution according to planned and ongoing flights
- The candidates should be able to ensure constant communication with the captain and advise them of any changes
- The candidates should be able to perform various administrative tasks associated with operations under established procedures
