Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Field work location experience:Â Territories, Prairies Region, Maritimes, British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and/or Quebec
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) Basic Safety Orientation (BSO), Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, Rig Worker Fall Protection, Standard First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Drug test and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks while handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be physically demanding and have attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel, and be available for overtime when required
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to manipulate sections of pipes or drill stems at the rig floor during drilling and the removal and replacement of pipes, drill stems, and drill bits
- The candidates should be able to handle, sort, and move drill pipes, tools, cement, and other materials while cleaning up rig areas
- The candidates should be able to assist in setting up, taking down, and transporting drilling and service rigs and equipment
- The candidates should be able to drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment
