Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, work in a fast-paced environment, handle physically demanding tasks, stand for extended periods, and work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to focus on clients, exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, communicate orally with excellence, show flexibility, and take initiative
- The candidates should be able to stay organized, demonstrate reliability, and work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and balance cash and record sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and assist clients/guests with special needs
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service
