NANA’S KITCHEN AND HOT SAUCES provides convenient comfort foods with a global taste. Our mission is to produce convenient comfort foods with a global taste! Since 2000 we have been producing flavorful, ready to eat items for food service and grocery retail customers across Canada and the USA. We are proud to supply handmade Samosas, Mexican foods, and sauces that are inspired by the culture, caring and kitchen memories of many “Nana’s” all over the world. Our products feature 70%-80% Pacific Northwest Ingredients. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $17.00 hourly 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client focus, flexible, reliable, should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to food safety/handling skills, transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials, measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
- The candidates should be able to feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to remove filled containers from conveyors, manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- The candidates should be able to feed and unload processing machines, check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- The candidates should be able to assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties, clean machines and immediate work areas
