Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Word processing software, Central reservation system (CRS), Internet

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, judgmental, and be able to work as a team player
  • The candidate should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests and assign rooms, take, cancel and change room reservations
  • The candidates should be able to provide information on hotel facilities and services, provide general information about points of interest in the area, investigate and resolve complaints and claims
  • The candidates should be able to process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments, follow emergency and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying), answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide customer service
