Terra Beata Processing Ltd based in Sackville, NB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Fruit Preparer-Food and Beverage Processing. Terra Beata Processing Ltd is known to produce juice, dried fruit and cooked products sold under the Terra Beata brand. We supply products at grocery stores across Canada as well as serving industrial and private label customers. Our company is known to use clean and fresh cranberries. Our brand has various outlets. In all, we are known to serve a wide range of customers, from local families who visit the U-pick. We are known to serve consumers who choose our products at grocery stores across the country, and international businesses looking for top quality frozen fruit, dried fruit and bulk juices. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to part time leading to full time or permanent employment. The shifts the candidate has to work are yet to be determined.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Physical Requirements:

- The candidate should be able to work with hand-eye coordination

Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to remove filled containers from conveyors
- The candidate should be able to feed and unload processing machines
- The candidate should be able to feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
- The candidate should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- The candidate should be able to assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
- The candidate should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials

Company Overview:
Founded in 1998, Terra Beata Processing Ltd was formed by David and Evelyn Ernst. The company grew first from a patch of undeveloped peat bog sold at a mortgage foreclosure to a 12 acre cranberry farm on Heckmans Island, near Lunenburg Nova Scotia. The company works to clean, freeze, process and market cranberries. Even today, the company is operating its original farm, plus a 50 acre farm in Aylesford, and a 12 acre farm in Tremont, NS.
