Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours and Morning
Work setting: Urban area and moving and storage company
Work site environment: Candidates should work in outdoors, confined spaces, dusty, hot, cold or refrigerated and noisy area
Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have steel-toed safety boots
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail and also for bending, crouching, kneeling and large workload
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be creative, energetic, hardworking, outgoing, proactive, quick learner, dependable, reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have efficiency, integrity, positive attitude and also knowledge of time management
- The candidate should have experience of vehicle and equipment like Dollies, hand trucks and Loader
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment and also hazardous products handling and storage
- The candidate should be able to store cargo and materials and also organize and maintain inventory
- The candidate should be able to wrap goods, pack and unpack goods, sort, crate and stack goods, install, lash and secure goods and also transport and distribute materials and goods
