Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Work Site Environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming
Work Setting: Staff accommodation available, Rural area
Type of Crops: Apples, Cherries
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to do repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to do physically demanding
- The candidate should be able to do a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidate should be able to do bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to clean crop
- The candidate should be able to hand harvest vegetables
- The candidate should be able to harvest seedlings
- The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidate should be able to do weeding
- The candidate should be able to fertilize and spray crops
- The candidate should be able to harvest crops
- The candidate should be able to examine products for quality and prepare for the market
