Salary: $15.50 to $17.00 hourly for 30 to 45 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Seasonal employment
Location: Waterford, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend and Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in outdoors, wet/damp and hot place
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be reliable and also a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to plant bulbs and seeds, pot and re-pot plants and also transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
- The candidate should be able to weed, report signs of insect or disease damage and also water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
- The candidate should be able to clean work area
