Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Geriatric Certificate, mental health first aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, have a strong client focus, and be flexible in their approach
• The candidates should show initiative in their tasks, exhibit sound judgement, and be organized in their work
• The candidates should possess patience and display honesty in their interactions

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to care for pets, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to provide companionship, shop for food and household supplies, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to cook
