Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Newmarket, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend
Transportation information: Own transportation, and Public transportation is available
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smoking and capable of handling physical demands, including lifting weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be punctual, organized, and reliable

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture
• The candidates should be able to be proficient in vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and capable of making beds and changing sheets
• The candidates should be able to excel in cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as laundering clothing and household linens
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to maintain cleanliness and organization
• The candidates should be skilled in sanitizing and washing dishes and other items by hand, ensuring hygiene and cleanliness standards are met
• The candidates should be adept at performing general housekeeping activities, such as tidying up and organizing living spaces
• The candidates should be able to handle various cleaning duties efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the environment
