Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have the ability to work independently, handle repetitive tasks effectively, and work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to manage physically demanding work, and have a strong attention to detail
• The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required, and handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be proficient in weight handling, including handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be punctual, exhibit dependability, and be reliable
• The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and show flexibility in their work approach
• The candidates should take initiative, be organized, and demonstrate honesty
• The candidates should have patience and be adaptable to different situations

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock the linen closet
• The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and pick up debris and empty trash containers
• The candidates should be able to launder, mend clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to clean changing rooms and showers
