Kool Breeze Ice Cream Barn based in Summerside, PE is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Ice cream counter attendant. Kool Breeze Ice Cream Barn has all the dairy bar favorites like sundaes with real whipped cream, milk shakes, and slushies. We provide iceburgs, soft and hard ice cream, parfaits, hurricanes, ice cream sandwiches, banana splits and soft serve floats. We offer gluten-friendly cones and lactose-free ice cream. With a large selection of Belgium cone dips and all sorts of candy toppings, there is something for everyone here at the Ice Cream Barn. We even offer a dog treat for the furry family members. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $14.50 hourly for 20 to 48 hours per week
Employment Type: Part time leading to full time, Seasonal employment
Location: Summerside, PE
Shifts: Day, Evening and Weekend
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation required
Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Food Safety Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks and also stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like Electronic cash register and also Food dispensers
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, remove kitchen garbage and trash and also sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
- The candidate should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, scour pots and pans and also take customers’ orders
- The candidate should be able to package take-out food, portion and wrap foods and also prepare, heat and finish simple food items
- The candidate should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars and also receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
