Kitchen Helper
Great Buffet of China based in Saskatoon, SK is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Kitchen Helper. Great Buffet of China is a restaurant run by professional chefs. Our restaurant is known for our well-known buffet. We are known as the holder of the Consumers Choice Award, noted as the most extensive in Saskatoon. We have been known to change the combination of Chinese and Canadian menu frequently, most recently adding sushi. In all, we are known to provide all catering, take-out, delivery and a banquet service. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to full time or permanent employment. The shifts the candidate has to work are yet to be determined.

Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
- The candidate should be able to sharpen kitchen knives
- The candidate should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash
- The candidate should be able to handle and store cleaning products
- The candidate should be able to clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
- The candidate should be able to receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
- The candidate should be able to sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Great Buffet of China owners Susan and Andy Kwan started the restaurant business after Andy went to chef school in China to learn the art of Chinese cooking. Both the chefs owned the restaurant since 1985 and in 1995 the Great Buffet of China was established.
