Purdys Chocolatier, based on Kingsway in Vancouver, BC, is inviting for competent candidates for the position of Kitchen helper. Purdys Chocolatier’s chocolates are well-known. We are well-known for working with the goal of offering high-quality items backed by extensive knowledge. The Company’s line of business includes manufacturing chocolate and cocoa products. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 1 year to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- The candidate should produce centers in accordance with recipes, processes scrap in accordance with recipes, and clean equipment on a daily basis.
- The candidate should perform equipment start-up and shutdown procedures, as well as required checklist documentation, for a variety of pieces of equipment, including but not limited to Awema, extruders, depositors, mixers, grinders, and beaters
- The candidate should orders materials and ingredients from the warehouse to restock kitchen inventories.
- The candidate should produce items in accordance with production schedules and standards.
- The candidate should maintain a reasonable degree of cleanliness and sanitation in the area
- The candidate should perform any necessary preventative maintenance chores and completes any necessary documentation
- The candidate should execute obligations outlined in the Purdys Quality Management System, such as mandatory documentation and quality inspections.
- The candidate should follow general duties as needed Other responsibilities may be added or removed as needed.
