Professional Valve Service based in Sarnia, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Labourer, general – manufacturing. Professional Valve Service supervise and provide a complete repair and overhaul service, covering all brands of gate, globe, plug, check, ball, control, pressure reducing, safety relief, and teflon lined valves. We recognize the high cost of valve replacement, and more importantly the economics of valve refurbishment and repairs. We have developed a vast array of fixtures for the repair and testing of industrial valves. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.00 to $21.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: Sarnia, ON
Shifts: 08:00 to 16:30
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Bondable Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads or large workload
- The candidates should be able to work at noisy, odours, dusty, and cold/refrigerated area
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, dependable, flexible, and reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication and excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player
