Shift: 4 x 10 hour
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of Grade 12 education
Experience: Candidates should have experience in Previous ski lift operational
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work well in a team environment as well as complete assigned tasks unsupervised
- The candidates should be competent and comfortable working at heights and in all mountain weather conditions for this position requiring physical outdoor work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be self-motivated, physically capable and have strong mechanical skills
- The candidates should possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- The candidates should have previous mechanical experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure a safe, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
- The candidates should be able to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the resort ski lift system.
- The candidates should be able to participate in a well-structured preventative maintenance program
- The candidates should be able to safely operate various types of vehicles in a rugged mountain environment
- The candidates should be able to know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
- The candidates should be able to know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
- The candidates should be able to know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to Work Programs
