Job Description:

Salary: Salary is not mentioned, $25.00-$30.00 hourly estimated salary
Employment Type: Seasonal/Full Time
Location: Fernie, BC, Canada
Shift: 4 x 10 hour

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Grade 12 education
Experience: Candidates should have experience in Previous ski lift operational

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work well in a team environment as well as complete assigned tasks unsupervised
  • The candidates should be competent and comfortable working at heights and in all mountain weather conditions for this position requiring physical outdoor work

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be self-motivated, physically capable and have strong mechanical skills
  • The candidates should possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
  • The candidates should have previous mechanical experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to ensure a safe, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
  • The candidates should be able to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the resort ski lift system.
  • The candidates should be able to participate in a well-structured preventative maintenance program
  • The candidates should be able to safely operate various types of vehicles in a rugged mountain environment
  • The candidates should be able to know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
  • The candidates should be able to know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
  • The candidates should be able to know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to Work Programs
