Shifts: Day, 08:00 to 16:30

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Type of product: Small transformers, motors and transmissions, Large household appliances, Small appliances
Equipment and machinery experience: Screw machines, Hand tools, Testing
Area of work experience: Subassemblies, Assembly line
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized, flexible, and reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assemble prefabricated parts, set up and adjust production machineries/tools
  • The candidates should be able to assemble small and large household electrical appliances
  • The candidates should be able to assemble small transformers, small electrical motors and transmissions
  • The candidates should be able to assemble circuit breakers, switches or other electrical control equipment and position and fasten components into assembly casings
  • The candidates should be able to set up assembly line with materials and supplies required for production
  • The candidates should be able to check products for visual defects and faulty electrical and mechanical connections, identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
  • The candidates should be able to operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality, perform minor repairs to items rejected from production line
