Inn On The Lake based in Fall River, NS is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Lobby porter. Inn On The Lake is a boutique hotel of Nova Scotia. Our hotel is situated on four acres of parkland on the shores of Lake Thomas. We have many years of experience in hotel industry and are well-known in the community. We have very efficient and experienced staffs who help us to operate our business. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure and also able to walk
- The candidate should be physical strong
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy tasks and also able for bending, crouching, kneeling
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to set-up, install, reconfigure, relocate and dismantle temporary partitions and furnishings of rooms
- The candidate should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs
- The candidate should be able to escort incoming guests to their rooms
- The candidate should be able to handle luggage for hotel guests
