Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have college certificate or University degree in related fields: International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 5 years’ experience in shipping/receiving & Logistics

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have customer service experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • The candidates should be able to manage dangerous goods shipments
  • The candidates should have data entry experience and be comfortable using modern technology
  • The candidates should possess a “get it done” attitude and a sense of urgency to resolve problems/tasks
  • The candidates should have the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with minimal supervision
  • The candidates should be able to work well in a team environment (mandatory)
  • The candidates should have good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be goal, task, and detail-oriented
  • The candidates should take initiative and be willing to constantly learn and adapt to different circumstances
  • The candidates should have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment
  • The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required to complete the job
  • The candidates should be familiar with the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS codes), which is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prioritize and collaborate with internal stakeholders on daily rush shipments
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and update the status of rush shipments to internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis
  • The candidates should be able to enter daily rush and spare parts shipments into the order system
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with stakeholders on a daily basis regarding rush and spare parts shipments
  • The candidates should be able to manage shipments of dangerous goods as required, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • The candidates should be able to update the M1 ERP system with packaging details and customs information for orders and shipments
  • The candidates should be able to submit shipment requests to the Ad Hoc team
  • The candidates should be able to monitor the status of Ad Hoc shipment requests
  • The candidates should be able to print and save shipping labels, bills of lading (BOL), and customs documents for daily shipments
  • The candidates should be able to complete packaging and paperwork for daily rush shipments
  • The candidates should be able to send customs documentation to brokers to facilitate clearance support for shipments
  • The candidates should be able to attend logistics/ SRF training sessions with interns
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with the Ad Hoc team for special cases such as hazardous materials, less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments, specialized equipment, etc.
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with freight forwarders for various modes of transportation (air, ocean, LTL, FTL, specialized equipment, etc.)
  • The candidates should be able to create CERS (Customs Entry Release System) declarations as required
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate local shipments and create necessary paperwork
  • The candidates should be able to support the procurement team with different shipment requests, including local, international, and returns
  • The candidates should be able to submit claims for courier providers and follow up on claim statuses
  • The candidates should be able to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required by the Logistics team
  • The candidates should be able to support the Logistics team on large projects as needed
  • The candidates should be able to provide support on the large project tracker as required by the Logistics team
