Canada’s Wonderland based in Vaughan, Canada is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Maintenance Licensed Millwright. Canada’s Wonderland has been known as the premier destination in Ontario for thrills, family fun, and world-class entertainment. Our amusement park features more than 200 attractions including 17 roller coasters, two children’s areas, and Splash Works, the 20-acre water park. Our four-season amusement park has you covered year-round. With rides, we are also known for the live shows and special events through spring, summer, fall, and winter including Halloween Haunt and the immersive holiday event Winter Fest. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The candidate has to work in day, afternoon, weekends and holidays shifts.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need any standard educational qualification such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, other field required experience is mentioned below
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate is required to meet the physical demands of the job including weights of up to 23kg, heights of 106m, frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crawling and ability to work with ladders
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have a Mechanic or Millwright license
- The candidate should have a valid Ontario driver’s license (must provide driver’s abstract)
- The candidate must obtain TSSA license after completing the required hours
- The candidate must have an experience in a diverse industrial environment
- The candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude and strong communication skills both written and oral
- The candidate should have proven abilities to problem solve, troubleshoot and work with deadlines
- The candidate should have ownership of tools and safety boots a must
- The candidate having exposure to machining equipment an asset
- The candidate should have diverse background troubleshooting hydraulics an asset
- The candidates having welding experience is an asset (SMAW all position CWB certified welder/fitter)
- The candidate should have the ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to rebuild and/or repair of equipment as specified
- The candidate should be able to maintain all required service records and logs
- The candidate should be able to make recommendations for improvements, modification, upgrades and report findings to Supervisor on a timely basis
- The candidate should be able to assist with major overhauls, modifications and alterations as required
- The candidate should be able to ensure the safe operation of each work area and each work project
- The candidate should be able to assist with general cleaning, inspection and reassemble equipment as needed
- The candidate should be responsible for assisting with daily preventative maintenance program
- The candidate should be able to install new equipment
