Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Post-secondary education and/or related mechanical/electrical experience are definite assets
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should have the ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment, involving standing, walking, and moving for extended periods
  • The candidate should be capable of lifting and handling materials relevant to manufacturing processes
  • The candidate should be comfortable operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be willing to work 12 hours rapid rotating shifts
  • The candidates must hold a valid G2 or higher Ontario Drivers License

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to learn how to operate, adjust, changeover, and maintain high-speed equipment on a rotating shift schedule
  • The candidate should be able to work well individually and as part of a self-directed work team, handling multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment
  • The candidate should also be willing to be trained on fork trucks, as operating a fork truck (once trained) is required for this position
  • The candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to solve complex problems, and analyze data using information technology systems
  • The candidate should have Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
