DR PIETRO LOMBARDI, DR KELVIN LEUNG based in East York, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Medical clinic receptionist. DR PIETRO LOMBARDI, DR KELVIN LEUNG provides same-day medical services by highly trained medical doctors and requires no appointment. We provide extended weekday and weekend hours. We are a Primary care walk-in clinic for same-day medical services, and do not provide ongoing comprehensive family medicine, nor is this an emergency department. Although our clinic assesses and treats an extensive amount of medical conditions, it does not provide long-term family medicine nor is it an emergency department. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $16.50 hourly for 3 to 25 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend and Morning
Work setting: Urban area and health care institution, facility or clinic
Transportation/travel information: Own transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of Electronic medical records, Word processing software, Database software, Electronic mail and MS Word

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, maintain tight deadlines and also sit

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
  • The candidate should be reliable and also a team player
  • The candidate should have effficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral and written communication

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public and also obtain and process information required to provide services
  • The candidate should be able to record and relay information, schedule and confirm appointments and also send invoices
  • The candidate should be able to order office supplies, maintain work records and logs, perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages and also calculate billing charges
