Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be organized in their approach to work

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to review, evaluate, and implement new administrative procedures, establish work priorities, and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • The candidates should be able to delegate work to office support staff, coordinate and plan for office services, and administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
  • The candidates should be able to carry out the administrative activities of the establishment, assist in the preparation of the operating budget, and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • The candidates should be able to administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation, oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, and train staff
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services, plan and control the budget and expenditures, and perform data entry
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls, oversee payroll administration, and assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • The candidates should be able to oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, train staff, and perform data entry
